Ingredients
-1 pound of cubed chicken thighs -The juice of 4 fresh lemons -8 garlic cloves (crushed) -2 tablespoons of tomato paste -1 teaspoon of paprika -1 teaspoon of garlic powder -1 teaspoon of ginger -1 teaspoon of turmeric -1 teaspoon of dried oregano -1 pound of plain yogurt -Optional coarsley cut shallots for skewering with the chicken, and sumac for sprinkling the end product
Step-By-Step Preparation
-Prepare the chicken marinade by mixing all the ingredients together.
-Coat the chicken really well with the yogurt mixture and marinate it overnight.
-Skewer the chicken pieces with the shallots, and grill for 15 to 20 minutes.
-Once done, you may sprinkle with sumac, and serve it with bread, salad, and garlic sauce.
