This middle eastern dish was given to us by Heba Deno

Ingredients

● 1 onion

● ¼ cup olive oil

● Water(about 6 cups depending on

serving size

● Chicken tube

● Cumin

● Tumeric

● Mrs. Dash

● ¼ cup uncle bens rice

● 2 cups orange split lentils

Step-By-Step Preparation

● Saute onion in olive oil for 1 minute

● Add water and spices, and bring to a

boil

● Once boiled, add in rice and lentils.

Bing to a boil and consistency, add

more water

● It might be thick, so if you’d prefer a

more soupy consistency add more

water
