This Egyptian drink was given to us by Laila Abdalhy
Ingredients
1. 4 cups of milk
2. 1/2 cup cornstarch
3. 1 can coconut cream
4. 1 tsp Vanilla
5. ¾ cup sugar
6. 1 Tsp rose water (option)
Topping
7. Ground cinnamon, sweet dried
Coconuts, chopped pistachios
Step-By-Step Preparation
Combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup of
milk in a small cup and stir well.
Add milk to a soup.
Stir in cornstarch mixture in milk
before it gets warm.
Add in vanilla, sugar and rose water
(option).
Must stir constantly until it comes to a
boil.
Let boil for 2 minutes, meanwhile still
stirring.
Serve in dessert bowls.
Top with cinnamon and coconut or just
chopped pistachios.
