This Egyptian drink was given to us by Laila Abdalhy

Ingredients

1. 4 cups of milk

2. 1/2 cup cornstarch

3. 1 can coconut cream

4. 1 tsp Vanilla

5. ¾ cup sugar

6. 1 Tsp rose water (option)

Topping

7. Ground cinnamon, sweet dried

Coconuts, chopped pistachios

Step-By-Step Preparation

 Combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup of

milk in a small cup and stir well.

 Add milk to a soup.

 Stir in cornstarch mixture in milk

before it gets warm.

 Add in vanilla, sugar and rose water

(option).

 Must stir constantly until it comes to a

boil.

 Let boil for 2 minutes, meanwhile still

stirring.

 Serve in dessert bowls.

 Top with cinnamon and coconut or just

chopped pistachios.
