Dish Name: Baghrir (Moroccan pancakes)

Dish Country: Morocco

Ingredients

-17.5 oz of fine semolina

-2 tablespoons of all purpose flour

-30.5 oz of water

-8g of yeast

-21g of baking powder

-1 teaspoon of sugar

-Salt to taste

-Melted butter (for brushing)

-Honey and melted butter as syrup


Step-By-Step Preparation

-In a mixing bowl, mix all the dry ingredients except for the baking powder.

-Add water, and mix.

-Transfer to a blender and blend the mix fir a few minutes.

-Transfer back to the mixing bowl, and add the baking powder.

-Mix well.

-In a nonstick pan, Start cooking the pancakes over medium heat.

-Holes will begin to form, but wait until the top is completely dry, then flip the pancakes and cook only for a few seconds.

-Transfer pancake to a plate, and brush with melted butter.

-Continue with the rest, then serve with honey and melted butter.
